Suitable for all levels of surfer, whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, we can help you progress your surfing. Our main focus is delivering fun, professional and informative lessons, getting you up and surfing with good technique, confidence and style. Our highly qualified and experienced instructor team will guide you through each day using a combination of theory, practice and video/photo analysis, helping you improve your surfing.
Available as a day or join us for the whole weekend, dates available in May, June and July, September 2023.
Each day is action packed running Saturday 9am-5pm, Sunday 9am-3pm and includes surf lessons, surf theory, video analysis, surf hire, lunch and more!
Our Women’s Surf Weekends are the perfect combination of surf, fun and chill time, to join on your own or with friends.
Have you never been in the sea but want to give it a go? Or are you already paddling out back, going down the line and are ready to start carving up the waves?
Then our Women Surf Weekends in association with Roxy and Newquay Women’s Surf Club CIC are for you!
We will split surfers into different ability groups with their own instructor to focus on different skills. This means the pace will be set right for your independent surf experience and focus on appropriate skills for your level.
Are you interested in learning to surf but have never dipped a toe in the sea? Have you already had a lesson or two but need to work on balance and increase your wave count and length of ride in the white water? Whether you’re a complete beginner or have grasped the basic theory and need to start putting this into practice then our team are here to help you!
Are you up to your feet in the white water and found yourself asking what comes next? Have you had a bit of time out of surfing and now it’s time to get back in the game? Do you want to progress to surfing green waves? Our team will coach you through the next stages learning to catch unbroken waves and introducing how to trim, turn and surf down the line in style.
Have you already mastered paddling out back in waves over 2ft? Are you consistently catching unbroken waves with a good pop-up and want to progress to the next step? Do you want to increase your confidence so you can up that wave count? Our instructors will break down linking trims, turns and manoeuvres to start styling your way down the face.
Working with the 4 star The Esplanade Hotel we provide a unique surf package for the Roxy Women’s Surf Weekend. The Esplanade Hotel is located just a few minutes walk to the surf and looks out over the waves at South Fistral.

Honestly one of the best weekends of my life! Thank you to Rosa, Jo, Jen, and Emily for being the most supportive, funny, encouraging and empowering ladies! For pushing me beyond anywhere I thought I could ever go! Never dreamed I’d ever sit beyond the back line with the coolest chicks from all of the world… but I did! Never thought I’d catch green waves and party waves… but I did! Best weekend ever… all due to our amazing coaches!
Amazing weekend with the Roxy women’s surf weekend. Came on my own and surfed with an awesome group of women with great instructors - Jo, Rosa, Jen & Emily were fab. So encouraging and enthusiastic. Everyone left the surf each day buzzing!
First time for me to surf and what can I say, Jo and the girls were absolutely amazing! So friendly, very helpful and when out on the water, they continued to encourage me so I got the hang of it really quickly, out in the outback and surfing the waves!!
