At our Cornwall Surfing School, we offer two-hour private surfing lessons, including all equipment, designed specifically with families in mind.
You will learn the fundamentals of surfing, ocean awareness, beach safety, surfing equipment and surfing terminology.
We provide the perfect balance of fun, learning and safety with your very own surf instructor!
Learn how to catch your first wave, stand up and how to surf white water waves all the way to the beach!
You will meet your own personal surf instructor at our base next to The Esplanade Hotel overlooking South Fistral Beach at a time to suit your family.
We will kit you out with the best Quiksilver and Roxy full length, warm wetsuits and provide boards suitable for the age and ability of your group.
Full access to our indoor changing rooms, lockers and hot showers is included for all lesson participants.

An action packed, wet and wild adventure around the Cornish coastline, leaping in to natural lagoons and climbing out amongst the craggy cliffs.
Our experienced instructors will tailor your adventure to your family. A private coasteer experience just for you and up to 4 participants.
Each activity runs for 2-3 hours and involves exploring the coastline, traversing along a stretch of inter-tidal zone, over rocks and through water, using a variety of demonstrated techniques including climbing, swimming and jumping.
Experience body boarding in a safe and fun environment on the world famous Fistral Beach in Newquay.
Similar to stand up surfing but easier to learn, whatever age or ability we guarantee everyone will be catching waves by the end of the session.
Our fully qualified and experienced instructor team will take you through the basics and have you riding waves with the right technique in no time.
All of our lessons are 2 hours and include free use of wetsuit, body boards and fins.

My boyfriend and I had our first ever surf lesson here with Joe. It was the highlight of our holiday in Cornwall and we had a fantastic time. The facilities in the surf school were great as well. Joe was really friendly and explained everything well, couldn’t have asked for a better instructor.
Great ‘intermediate’ surf lesson with Jo! Both my son Thomas and myself picked up a few good tips to bring back to Northumberland. Jo even found a quiet corner on Fistral to practice in!!😮 Great shop, changing facilities, lockers, showers and only the shortest of hops to the beach. We’ll deffo call again

I had a body boarding lesson today with instructor Joe. I was a complete beginner and he was very patient. I had great fun and would definitely recommend this company to friends. Also the changing rooms were immaculate, warm and spacious, something I wasn't expecting.
