Have you already mastered paddling out back in waves over 2ft? Are you consistently catching unbroken waves with a good pop-up and want to progress to the next step? Do you want to increase your confidence so you can up that wave count?
Our main focus is delivering fun, professional and informative coaching, getting you surfing with good technique, confidence and style.
Our highly qualified and experienced instructor team will guide you through each lesson using a combination of theory and practice helping you improve your surfing.
Our instructors will break down linking trims, turns and manoeuvres to start styling your way down the face.
You will meet your surf instructor at our base next to The Esplanade Hotel overlooking South Fistral Beach.
Our instructors will kit you out with the best Quiksilver and Roxy full length wetsuits included for free and discuss the correct boards for you to use, suitable for your experience.
All lessons are a maximum 5 participants and include a safety brief and assessment of the sea conditions of the day. Your instructor will cover intermediate level beach and surf theory with you before taking to the sea to catch some waves.
Full access to our indoor changing rooms and hot showers is included for all lesson participants. We also have secure lockers to store your clothes and valuables while you’re out catching waves.
My boyfriend and I had our first ever surf lesson here with Joe. It was the highlight of our holiday in Cornwall and we had a fantastic time. The facilities in the surf school were great as well. Joe was really friendly and explained everything well, couldn’t have asked for a better instructor.
Great ‘intermediate’ surf lesson with Jo! Both my son Thomas and myself picked up a few good tips to bring back to Northumberland. Jo even found a quiet corner on Fistral to practice in!!😮 Great shop, changing facilities, lockers, showers and only the shortest of hops to the beach. We’ll deffo call again
Fantastic beginner lesson with Ryan! He made us feel so at ease and is fantastic with the children and explained everything so well! For anyone who is nervous or has no idea what they are doing I highly recommend a lesson with Ryan! Will definitely be coming back!

I had a body boarding lesson today with instructor Joe. I was a complete beginner and he was very patient. I had great fun and would definitely recommend this company to friends. Also the changing rooms were immaculate, warm and spacious, something I wasn't expecting.
