Here at the Quiksilver Surf School in Newquay we've been busy getting everything ready for the upcoming season. Spring cleaning is underway and some refurbishments and updates to our facilities are taking place. We've also welcomed our first customers of the year as it's February half term and have had a few lessons going out on the better days. We've seen great commitment from a group of Loughborough University students who surfed on a bitter cold, frosty day whilst the sand was still white. Sunday was a busy day as the surf and weather combined to make for some great surf, and showed us that spring really is on the way. Here at South Fistral we are lucky to have a great left hander that breaks consistently, and by Sunday evening the lefts were well and truly pumping into Fistral Beach. We've got some more good surf on the forecast and with the weather getting better and better, we're all getting really excited for the season to get into full swing, welcoming new customers as well as seeing our regular customers again. Many of our instructors have spent the winter in warmer climates, honing their skills. We're looking forward to welcoming Jen, Sarah, Allannah, Dan and many more back, hearing their stories from their travels that will no doubt only add to the experience of learning to surf with the Quiksilver Surf School!
